Im amazed at the numbers being tossed around here -- $66 billion here, $47 billion there, by companies that are also in the process of doing their best to pay as few taxes as possible to the country that makes their gigantic wealth possible. This, of course, is why the nations debt soars, the deficit refuses to go down, and it costs $5,000 for an 8-hour visit to the emergency room that includes a couple of pills, an x-ray and ct scan, an antibiotic and a 5-minute chat with the doctor. Someone, after all, has to pay for all those billions. It sure as heck aint the rich folk in the room -- theyre too busy making billion dollar deals and dodging their taxes by moving to Ireland.
