Im an old guy, 63. I have gout (a form of arthritis). I am in pretty bad pain mist of the time. I chose not to medicate because of the danger to my liver. I do, however, take a small amount of Ibuprofen occassionally. I am really physically uncomfortable most of the time. Ive been seeking recovery for 40 years and I have more than 20 clean. I still go to meetings, willingly. People in my family ask if you have 20 clesn, why do you keep going to those N.A. meetings? I give then one simple answer why I keep coming back. N.A. still works!
