Im apologising in advance for this so please remove if necessary as its not paranormal-related. Im just happy as a pig in shit today and had to share with people who will appreciate it. Daughter is 17, at college studying A Levels in psychology and sociology and we had a conference evening last night where they tell us how shes doing. Shes working at A* standard, writing university-level work, is mentoring other teens in her class and is going to be going to university in a year or so to study forensic psychology. When she left school at 16, a few of the teachers had told her she wouldnt get very far with it as she wouldnt understand the concepts. Her GCSE results were okay but the only reason she got in to her preferred subjects is because she convinced them she could do it. And now shes being called the best in her group. Bearing in mind, this is the same kid who got banned from the local book shop at 11 years of age for moving all the religious books to the fictional section. And shes seriously thinking of protesting the next time a so-called psychic comes to our hometown. Chuffed to bits. ^_^
