Im applying for a fulltime position working for the city and my current employer is showing support for my efforts by telling me to bring confidence to my job auditions. My interview and knowledge tests are scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday at 11:30 am. Two days, two possible jobs and two different panels of clinitions to try and impress. The trouble is Ive had a year, working as a temp, to try and impress someone. I dont want my apparent confidence to be mistaken for cockyness. Dear Father, youve given me talents that few people are able to see. My skill set baffles even me. Your path has led me to this leap of faith. Grant me the wisdom Ill need to satisfy Your Will and bring about Your purpose. Thank-you for the friends youve given me and the learning experience theyve provided. Help me recall their lessons to give me the confidence I wouldnt have had otherwise. Dear Lord, guard my tongue so that others wont be misled by my illattempt at being funny. Watch over my coworkers whove grown dependant on my presence during the day. Help them make whatever adjustments necessary to bring into fruition their purpose in building Your Kingdom with or without my help. Help these next few days pass quickly that we all may continue prepairing or heats for Your Sons return. Yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen!!
