Im asking for advice from anyone who see this.... 5y ago I moved into a property 1st meeting we had I complained about some white bubblely damp that was running along the top of the balcony!!. They will get it sorted urgently..... Everyday this has got worse and worse.. Its caused health problems for my little girl, so loss of earnings when we have had to take time off work to be at the hospital while one of us is looking after are boy ,wrecked furniture, been took to court once before, as after failing to get through to the landlord, after going to mp, letters of complaints to the head people, millions of phone calls , even driving back and forth to talk to someone at there office because every time they didnt want to talk we have even been D counted from are properly last jan why works would take place , came back and nothing had been done!!! After all this and seen we didnt get no further wrongly stop paying my rent , got took to court sat quietly in front of judge, the outcome I had to start paying my rent agen with top-up , and land lord get works done that was last year in February 2014.. Thought yes something is going to get done can make my house a home agen !!!! Two days after court work men came in took all plaster off wall ., took all my tiles up off my balcony, grate I thought....... Hour later work man just left !! Dont know really what happened but they left , we have had surveyor after surveyor out but my land lord keeps chucking them off the case... One year on from then is where we are now , nothing has been done its just got worse!! In October last year was when I made a call to repairs team and said Ive got Water coming through my lounge ceiling,, they sent a electrician out 5hours after I reported the problem, they said we will send an emergency team out in morning,, nope not a thing,, done my phone calls trying to see whats going on nothing,, left Message after message , still nothing!!! By this time Im fuming and rang them and said rite from this day Im not paying my rent until the works are carried out , got a phone call next day saying we will fit u a temporary curtain pole!!! Ummmm thats the least of my problems!! 10.01.15 got home at 3.30pm from picking kids up , had a letter from court saying you will be evicted on the 28.01.15 at 12pm !! Just seeing if anyone can help surly landlords cant get away with this !! Ps we have the rent money we pay every week still but in are bank !! Please share as need the advice, also have recorded surveyors, doctors letters about damp and damage to my little girl any parent surly wouldnt put up with this ,, any help would be grate.
