Im assuming that the announcement that a new England shirt for the World Cup at a cost of £90, or £127 for a full on John Terry by Nike & the F.A. was some sort of early April Fool, or is that just those who actually pay that for a shirt that they will wear about 7 times? The F.A. is supposed to be a not for profit organisation, who claim they have no control over the pricing structure of its partners. What a load of bull...Why did Wembley cost so much, yet was built in such an awful place? Surely a national stadium should be easily accessible to the whole nation? Sport in the UK at the top level is run not by those who care and love sport, but by those who are only out to line their own pockets at the expense of others (Yes Lord Coe, Im looking at you & your Coca Coela deals post 2012). There has been no credible legacy (as yet) from 2012, and I fear for the future of other sports as more and more are run by behind the scenes deals leaving real fans left in the dark. I really hope Im proved wrong, but I doubt I will be.
