Im at Stanford, waiting for the pulmonary function test, then x-ray, then bloodwork, and finally clinic with the transplant team doctors. So far, things have been going well this morning. I have the new oxygen tanks, a nice stranger told me I left my tea on top of my car, and I found a disabled parking spot within 2 minutes. I also arrived only 20 minutes into the 1-hour window for PFT. Relaxed and organized, Im taking deep breaths. Im hoping my lung health remains at least stable... lugging around oxygen and feeding tube backpacks is inconvenient and tiring, but a lot better than going downhill fast.
