Im at a point where I want to say something. My journey these last couple of weeks. I have been the type of person that just took one day at a time. I never thought anything serious to open my eyes would happen. I never thought I would hear that scary word CANCER. In the latter part of July I found a lump in the same spot as all the other ones. Shrugged it off and told Darrell gosh I gotta another lump. I did however get a doctors appointment. On October 1st went to Dr Gilliam from there straight to Dr Scotts office where mammogram and ultrasound was performed. On October 4th I had a appointment with Dr Randall. He advised me to have a biopsy which was performed at the breast center and on October 10th is the day I was told the worse news of my life. That it was cancer. October 29th Dr Randall and Dr Alison performed a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Im living proof I can say Im cancer free. Dr Randall gave me 99% cure rate. Its the almighty heavenly father that brought me through all this friends and family and the power of prayer. I have to go every three months for a check up but hey. God is an awesome God. This has taught me to not just go to him in need. Go to him even when nothing is wrong. I thank him everyday. He is here hes real I felt his presence and the calmness and the love that my surgeons showed me. He worked through them.
