...Im at loss for this one. Im not sure how to respond, but Im curious to your guys responses. If a manager at a company is told to fire someone because theyre flying the Confederate flag on his truck to work (but apparently covers it when he gets there). Its welded on there, so it wont be easy to get off. The manager was told by his superiors to fire him. There have been complaints, and the employee has been told my multiple superiors to take it down and he refuses. ...On one hand, it is offensive. But people fly the flag for different reasons. For some, its like flying a flag of your country. For others, its a god I wish I could still have slaves type thing. But wouldnt firing him be violating his first amendment (even though its not a government business, Im assuming private, so essentially Duck Dynasty all over again). Im trying to think of what Id do in that situation. But Im not sure. On what grounds can you actually fire this person?
