Im at my wits end with my cat. Ive had her 3 1/2 years, paid thousands in vet bills, got great behavior advice...but she is still a violent, dangerous, unpredictable cat. This morning she got me in the face as I was stretching. Right next to my eyes. Shortly after she got Mel really good on the arm. Both the Humane Society & Animal Control say she has to be in quarantine for 10 days after breaking someones skin.....I was like, For gods sake, shed be in quarantine all the time! This is not a cat who can be put in a crate; she needs to be sedated just for a regular vet appointment. She can act somewhat normal for 2 or 3 days, but then her switch flips & she s on the attack. The no- kill shelters arent interested, as they cant adopt- out a cat like her. I even looked into home euthanasia but it is really expensive. Ive always had & loved cats, but this one I cannot handle. Just cant.
