Im at the Sparklean Laundry in Indio. Gee, I love a laundomat that has free WiFi -- along with oversize machines to do blankets and such. I took the main north-south road through Joshua Tree National Park yesterday (where this photo of Tundra and Discovery was taken) and it was a good thing I decided to take that road instead of going back to Hwy 62 and the Banning Pass area as the winds were so fierce there you couldnt see the nearby mountains. Luckily, very little winds on my route to the Salton Sea, where Ill be staying for the next 4 days. Bill and Anne were there to greet me and I had dinner at their RV. Once again, good times with good folks...They headed out on their trip back north this morning after Bill and I spent the early morning with the seemingly gazillions of birds along the shore at the Salton Sea State Recreation Area.
