Im back home now and have had lunch...my appointment was for 11.35 and I got in at 11.25...:) Met for the first time the other consultant and he was really nice...took out three stitches that needed to come out and said that they got all the cancerous part and that I was healing very well, and told me in two weeks time to start kneading my face with my fist quite vigorous to disperse all the swelling and debris under the skin...takes 12 to 18 months before they consider the skin to be completely back to normal after such a big operation...Im going to be seen for two years and my first three monthly appointment is on October 14th...so great news all round...:) Well pleased...and Im rather tired now...did go into Poole afterwards and met up with our son as he came in the taxi with us, and bought some food in M&S and took back my trousers then we came home because I needed to rest...not surprising really...quite a traumatic day but a good ending to it...and our son is treating us to a Chinese meal to celebrate this evening...:) And, its still a lovely day....:)
