The band started in 2013. It was an easy transition for most of our members coming out of one band and forming another. After finding the right mix of members we decided to release our first demos as LongLive in October of 2013. There was no real lets start a band moment. 2) Do you think that bands are going to take over the pop music industry again one day like the times of the 70s and the 60s? The 60s and 70s were an amazing time for bands in the pop culture world. Thats not to say they dont play a major role in todays pop music. Bands like Imagine dragons and maroon five top the charts every month. No were not always on top, but we easily can be with the even slightest shift in culture. 3) What inspires you to write your music? This is always a tough one. There is no one thing that inspires all our music but rather an ocean of thoughts and emotions drawn from the human experience. A song can be found almost anywhere there is heightened pain, pleasure, anger, grief, joy, excitement, raw emotion 4) Where would you like to tour someday? Im sure any member of our band could give you a diffrent answer to where they would like to tour. For me, its the pub scene in Ireland. Id love to get down with some of the guys Ive met from across the pound. 5) Who is the funniest band member in your band? Funniest member, hmmmmm. Id have to go with Nick Wolters on vocals. This kids joy for life is contagious so its hard not to get a good laugh with him around. One of those real genuine laughs. The kind youll remember for years. 6) Finish this sentence, If I could fly, I would.... If I could fly I would over think the consequences of never using my legs and probably only use the ability to hop tall fences separating me and friendly dogs. ish this sentence, If I could fly, I would... 7) Touring with Bring Me the Horizon or All Time Low? Which band would be great for you? It would be sick to tour with either band. Genre wise we would fit more efficiently with BMTH but I would never count All Time Low out when it comes to a good party tour. Thanks for everything you do BandFocus! Catch you guys later!
