Im back...surprised, huh? Hehehe. Two friends from a religious group unfriended me over yesterdays postings. This religious group is the same group that disfellowships you if you are not adhering to the man made group rules. Thank God that our Lord & Savior does NOT operate in that fashion. Time for a repost: What was Christs 2nd COMMAND in John 15:12? He said, This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. What did Christ mean here? What love did He speak of? I look around at the Christians and see too many are trying to be the most among us while it is the LEAST among us, the true servant, that God desires. God wants the humble, obedient, servant..... When did sowing for Gods Kingdom become a competition for a First Place ribbon? In the very recent past I have been guilty of trying to force and shove what I believed to be Truth on others. I thought that if I just kept repeating myself to them theyd eventually get it, or finally SEE what I believed to be Truth as their own Truth too. I would just hammer that Truth out there and often in a very abrasive and repetitive way. Well, here is what I see so clearly now, Thank YOU Lord!.... God is a VERY serious topic of discussion. We are dealing with LIFE or DEATH stuff here! SOULS ARE AT STAKE! God is not to be tossed around on the playground as an I am right and you are wrong matter. The fruit of such interactions is WRETCHED and far reaching. How can any babe in Christ line up and submit when they are surrounded by chaos and confusion caused by CHRISTIANS??? Here is the deal.. If you were truly REBORN, you WILL seek to know more of God. Period. The moment you truly come to Christ, a type of switch is flipped on inside you and there is a fire AND a hunger that ONLY God will satisfy. You will experience a Love like you will never know, except from God. So, if the person you are speaking to is of God, they will study what you are sharing for themselves. When we constantly try to badger them with our words it is pointless and NEVER works. ONLY God can convince their heart. ***Dividing the sheep is what Satan seeks to do, NEVER God. When God divides, He divides us from the world. We are called to love one another as Christ loved us. We are to sow Truth. When God leads us to a deep wisdom we are to share it and then allow God to do the persuading of the hearts. After all, as I stated above, every TRUE child WILL seek out Gods Word on subjects and God will NEVER leave them in error. Amen? We always need to let God do the convincing. Of course, when we witness error or false doctrines we should share biblical counsel WITH SCRIPTURES **on the topic**. God does call us to warn and correct through His Word, but then we need to move out of the way and let God work on HIS childrens hearts. Always the truly reborn will study. Always. NEVER should the child of God fall into the trap of engaging in emotionally charged debates. Such discussions are not furthering the Kingdom of God and should be avoided. They sow confusion and discord, and God is not the author of such. I am convinced in my spirit that Satan is at work on those threads. Look at the fruit of them: Nobody wants to be corrected and everybody is right. That makes me recall a 1960s song: Theres bad lines being drawn; Nobodys right if everybodys wrong Let every man be a liar and let God be your TRUTH. Measure ALL against His Word and He will guide you. Trust your God given gift of discernment. Harshness and pushiness have no place in sharing the gospel. I do thank God for chastening me through recent events..... I can see now exactly what John 15:12 means!!! We are to just share the Truth and LOVE them, God will handle ALL of the rest of it with HIS children. If people choose to remain in error, it is THEIR CHOICE. You did your duty of sowing Truth and remained obedient to Christs command....the rest is ALL THEIR CHOICE and DUTY to perform. Amen? The sword divides, yes BUT it divides us from them (the Christian from the world). The Word of God is not supposed to separate Christian from Christian. **just my little trumpet** God bless!! You WILL mess up but God will never leave you in that mess up when you are truly SEEKING Him.
