Im beginning to think that maybe ... just maybe ... because of the blanket corruption of our Federal Government ... the Constitution has become nothing but an unattainable and unenforceable ideal. The document ... as written ... is based on the presumption that those elected to write, interpret and enforce law would be individuals with a basic sense of honesty, integrity and honor. The people weve been sending to Washington, D.C. for the past several decades have proven to be corruptible, if not corrupted at the time of their election. It is my very honest opinion that every single one of those weve sent to represent us have been violated and exploited in such horrific manners that they can be corrupted with extreme prejudice. There is no such thing as the good of the American people anymore ... theyre all in it to save their own hides, enrich their own estates and fleece the American public. But then ... we were warned by the Founders that this day would come ... read the words of Thomas Jefferson ... “When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.”
