Im completely hurt by all the anti Police posts. If youve never done the job or had a Police Officer close to you in your life, you know nothing about it so stop spewing forth ignorance....because you do not know how to do the job. People are doing nothing but making it all worse. If you wouldnt go out everyday and risk your life or health for people who hate you, then keep your mouth and thumbs closed. Reading down my newsfeed as I lay here wishing I could vacuum my carpet or go hang out with some friends, Im broken hearted by some of the things Im reading. To those who are still out there on the front lines in this evil world, I commend you. Do what you must do to go home safely!! Im not complaining about my injuries, Im actually proud of the way I got them and the fact that a young man on meth ended up getting help that day. So to those who hate the Police enjoy your clean homes, enjoy going out on weekends, enjoy doing yard work, enjoy dancing, enjoy going for long walks, enjoy the holidays spending long days visiting your family and friends, enjoy going to work and not being stuck in bed for three days after every job you do....I remember how fun that used to be. Those who hate the Police could at least educate themselves on the job. Do a ride a long, find out what its really about and how difficult it is physically and emotionally. Then enjoy not having nightmares of dead bodies, the imprint of young people hanging from ropes when they decide to end their lives. Enjoy not seeing brains dripping from the ceiling and falling on your head. Enjoy not having to fight to just do your job because people dont respect what you are charged to do. Enjoy not being screamed at at your job and being told to suck everything and being screamed at almost daily. Enjoy not being told you and your family are going to be killed once they get out and worrying about it to the point of insomnia. Enjoy not having impending doom hanging over your head wondering whats going to happen next. Enjoy that you arent driving around waiting for the next extreme tragedy to occur so you can run into it. Enjoy being able to run away,while the Police run in. Heck, enjoy just being able to run. I have much more to say but Ill stop at this....I guess my peace is said.
