Im contemplating giving up the lease on Rinky Dink Rehearsals as its not being used enough these days to cover the rent. Its not something Im looking to make money from- I can survive without the place, but Ive put a lot of time and effort into the place and I enjoy practicing and recording there with my own band so it would be a shame to have to let the ol joint go. Its been a pleasure to see so many quality musicians of all walks of life and different styles of music grace the joint over the last 5 years. But I cant continue to lose money on the rent, bills and upkeep of the place if not enough bands are using it. I dont expect much action this time of the year- its always quiet at the studio over Christmas and New Year. Ill take another hit with this months rent. I just hope it gets busier soon or Ill have to pull out. Musicians of Belfast, just lettin yall know. If you dont use it, youre gonna lose it.
