Im counting my blessings today....as I trundle my kiddies off to the dentist for painful work. We can focus on the pain, the genetic unfairness of having extremely soft teeth, wail and bemoan the agonies of repair work and the expense it will cost.....OR we can be grateful to live in a land where we can find dental care and not have rotten, abscessed teeth and a mouth full of holes. Perspective is everything. You can find the blessing if you look for it. The dentist may be the instrument of a right now pain, but it is for our long term good. He is not our enemy, he is our friend. He is not the instrument of bad, but of good, painful though it may be. Not every painful experience is a bad one...quite often what is for your best..... wears the cloak of pain. What blessing can you find today in your painful, unwanted or costly experience?
