Im currently writing a letter to a woman who changed my life. As are James Reyne, James Blundell, Matthew Condon and others. Its all under the Men of Letters banner, for a live event in Brisbane this Sunday, at the Zoo (which FB autoprompts me to change to Zooey Deschanel who, though she might be a great person to write or read a letter to, is sadly not a Brisbane venue - were talking the Zoo at 711 Ann St). So, who have I chosen and why? Who have we each chosen and why? Maybe youll have to be there. A clue: my letter recipient died in 1852, but pioneered something that has a direct bearing on my life every day. Please spread the word to anyone in/near Brisbane who might be interested.
