Im deciding to move to Los Angeles or New York. Whenever I make a moving decision I consult the ending to Shawshank Redemption. While this scene guided me to San Diego from Washington DC, its not giving me a clear message this time. On one hand, I think Red would encourage me to stay near the Pacific Ocean - because it is very blue and the Atlantic Ocean is garbage. On the other, I feel only a cross country move matches the dramatic tone of Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying. Can I really God damn right a 2 hour drive? This decision would be easier if I had a friend as cool as Andy Dufresne (sorry friends).
