Im disheartened to learn that readers have been passing around stolen files of my work while also pretending to be fans to my face.Even accepting swag and other items from me. :( I work very hard to provide a great experience for readers, from the books themselves, to special sales and giveaways. This kind of theft ruins it for everyone. I am putting together all the details and will do what I can to stop these thefts (as it is not just my work, but other authors too). Please dont share book files. Its stealing. And to take someones ARC and pass it around is a special kind of low. :( Lastly I will say, again, I have attorneys in my family (Im actually trying to convince them to open a firm specializing in author legal issues). It costs me nothing to pursue legal remedies, but it becomes very expensive for thieves.
