Im done being politically correct. I consider myself to be widely open minded... And I genuinely LOVE people. I grew up in the South Pacific islands of New Caledonia and Tahiti, (both presenting extremely eclectic populations!) but was born in Madagascar. I was a seasoned traveller from an early age! I have met many a different nationalities/religious faiths and beliefs and loved each and every one of my encounters. I personally know a few muslims I think are wonderful people I feel privileged to call my friends! However, this post I share because I agree wholeheartedly with the message. I too was an immigrant 24 years ago.... But I seriously think of myself as Aussie. Im still surprised when asked where I am from ( sticky thick French accent gives me away, every time! Haha) because I am true blue Aussie at heart. Oi! Oi! Oi! And I will fight for Australia to remain this beautiful country, built and based on the Christian principles I hold dear. Islamists extremists are a real threat to our precious way of life. I shall stand and protect the Australia I have come to know and love. SHARING THIS POST, passing it along as I hope to inspire many more of you to stop acting like ostriches and become the watch dogs your country needs you to be.
