Im dying laughing.. My friend calls me to express her frustration... Shes like why does everyone wanna be a makeup artist?? I busted up laughing. Cause there is truth to what she said.. But I explained to her simply like this.. Only people with a true passion and talent who have been around since before the glamour of being a makeup artist was around, are the ones who will last. There is more to being a makeup artist than just a couple cute brush sets and 1,000 and 1,000 dollars in product. A real makeup artist knows how to mix colors to get multiple colors, as well as the correct knowledge of facial structures, eyes, nose and lip shapes. So I ended the convo by telling her.. If your confident on what you do and you believe in your self, your work will speak for its self. The other people jumping on the bandwagon will fall off, just as fast as they jumped on. #truth #inthegame10yrs+
