Im ecstatic to share with you that my book, Heaven Time just received a Literary Book Award from USA called Living Now Book Award!! It honors and showcases books that inspire better living and family togetherness. Im very grateful and shocked that my work has been recognized and I cant thank everyone enough for encouraging me in my dark days while writing, producing and distributing this book. Heaven Time is a book about my near-death experience and painful recovery searching for normal. After my near-death experience, journal writing became my daily ritual helping me to make sense of what I always believed was nonsense and fool’s talk about spirits, life-after-death, energy etc. My experience challenged all my religious and mental beliefs which made my recovery tortuous and private. I never thought that I would be capable of writing a paragraph to share with the public my horrific and painful experience….let alone a whole book! What began as journal writing for my own healing process soon seemed to take on a life of its own serving to help others who were also searching for the answer how to live a happier life. After 4 years of struggling with the after-effects of a near death experience, I can barely fathom how far I have come. But I wouldnt have made it this far without a few important people who never left my side from the beginning. Although my mom is no longer living among us, she was a huge inspiration and sense of grounding wisdom that spoke so much sense to me when I was lost with no hope to return. My mom remains with me and I happily continue on with my journey. A special thank you to my loving husband, Larry Brewer, the light of my life, my son A.J, and my soul-sister Veronica Asman whom I have known for 45 years!
