Im excited to announce the upcoming Foro Latino hosted by The LULAC Ladies Council #330 and Hispanics for School Choice in partnership with several other community agencies to explain the new changes to Immigration and how it will impact those who qualify. We will do a presentation detailing the executive actions, and offer individual consultations with attorneys to figure out if they are eligible under the new law. Nearly 5 million undocumented immigrants would qualify under the changes Obama announced recently, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Parents of U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents who have lived here for at least five years and pass background checks could avoid deportation and receive employment authorization.
