Im extremely thankful and excited to announce that I got my old SoundCloud account back. After jumping through tons of hoops my management team was able to have the copyright claims dropped by Calvin Harris team. This is an extremely rare instance that had close to no chance of succeeding, yet somehow we managed it. Really though, this changes nothing, I am going to continue to fight to change the way copyright works around the world! No artist should have to go through what I did and be punished for expressing themselves. Copyright law must change, artists and record labels of the old guard must be more open to allowing artists to express themselves through sampling others work. I will continue to lead the way as an example by making my stems available for people to remix whenever possible and I hope I can influence other artists to do the same!
