Im fascinated by the powerful EFF press conference led by Julius Malema this morning. He has matured as an orator, takes the questions in his stride, chooses well-timed humor and makes blunt, and precise analysis, always calling a spade a spade where he sees fit. He acknowledges the hard work of his organisation, while lambasting the dwindling ANC numbers due to their complacency on corruption. He says if Zuma was arrested, they would prove their commitment to fighting corruption and easily retained their two thirds majority. An impressive and energetic media event, ending with highlighting the agenda for nationalization of the mines and the expropriation of land without compensation. Political energy just got a boost in SA. It remains to be seen how the chips may fall as the play continues over the next few years. #election2014
