Im feeling a lot of anguish with education. Im losing faith. I love my kids and I love to teach. I feel like the reputation and trust in teachers is being threatened. Im frustrated by what is happening with the movement and direction of authority and leadership. I believe that bad policeman and teachers exist but I believe it is far fewer than what is being publicized. All the articles that are pro-teacher are defending teachers. Heres the problem: Why are we having to defend ourselves? Who are the enemy? All the time and energy and emotion we put into our work and then we have to defend that? Why am I so bothered by this? Maybe this is a good time to go into the closet haha? Any thoughts?
