Im fighting a cold...I hope its just a cold. Im not sure if I have a fever. I feel like I do but when I take it, it reads 98.1. Yet last night my temp was 96.9. So I probably do have fever. Ive been drinking tea, and taking meds, and generally trying to tell myself Im going to get over this. But I still panic because whenever I start to cough I think of last year when the cough lasted five months. I think I caught it before it develops into bronchitis. I hope so. Im not coughing a lot, just every now and then. Im drinking Mullein Leaf tea which is good for the lungs. I took Umcka, also good for lungs. Im keeping the house warm. I dont want to get a chill. I did go outside to get the mail...dressed really warm just to do that. I did the laundry. Finished my taxes for next week. Yard person called to tell me how much I owe him. He was almost apologetic because its a hefty sum but that takes in all the work he did since fall right into plowing the snow up to this point...so actually quite reasonable and worth the cost. Oil man came to bring a fill up. Just paid for the last one...so Im all set for a little while. Property taxes due this week, and will go down to the Town Hall and pay them. I hope weather is better on Thursday. Just keep the wheels rolling, keep the ducks all in a row. I think back to the past when I didnt have to shoulder all these worries and it wasnt so bad. I need to concentrate on getting some stories up on Amazon, Smashwords, B&N. Too many distractions right now. Tonight Ill try to relax, do some more knitting, and look at my WIP that is at almost 24,000 words. Sister called to tell me about nice places in Florida and a community of older people. I had always planned to spend cold months in a warm climate way back when but that dream fell off the track along with others. I guess Im rambling. Must be the darn fever. Or the aches and pains. Not to mention the pesky post nasal drip that keeps me awake at night. But heck at least Im writing.
