Im frequently asked advise regarding sponsorship, so I thought Id share some tips. You need to be able to show the sponsor how you representing their product will gain them positive exposure (it isnt always competing that does this) and benefit them, its a two way street. Dont seek sponsorship to just get free stuff, seek the sponsorship of brands you believe in and have been supporting years prior to your sponsorship request. Loyalty is something lost on the newer generations sadly, if you choose to represent a brand make sure youre in it for the long haul and dont jump ship as soon as someone offers you dollar signs. Make sure youre upholding the commitments you make to them and dont sell yourself as something youre not.
