Im from Butterworth hospital to intervene following a complaint I received here on Facebook. Guys government has systems for our people to be served, our biggest problem is staff attitudes and lack of respect for one another as officials. A patient who has been told theres no ambulance since Tuesday was taken by an ambulance within 15 minutes of my intervention. This clearly tells me, there was no issue about ambulance availability. Why does it have to be Kupelo who must intervene before excellent service is rendered? These resources are there to serve people not those who happen to be prominent or occupy positions of influence. This is wrong. We have helicopters here to service our people not ourselves. We have increased the number of ambulance fleet but why do we still fail to serve. We are in the process of employing 700 ambulance drivers but still we fail our people. We have allowed all 900 health facilities in the province to order medicines directly from depo surely if kusathwa akho mayeza in clinics definitely ayebiwa. I must say though, there are many men and women in our department who are committed. Those nurses and doctors and other good people should be commended. We must stop blaming politicians the real problem in public is on the ground
