Im full of stories. I have a story about everything. Im SO detail minded, and so aware of the details of the happenings in my life, that everything translates into a story. For my family, and Im sure my friends too, this can be a bit boring, old, long, and drawn out. And Ive wondered why I encapsulate everything into a story...its truly not intentional. My husband and my daughter, Nicole, tease me about my stories, and tell me its a multi-volume set!!! Haha!!! Ive had people ask me if I write (books), and why not. And the other aspect of this story thing, I have a tendency to feel that everything should be written down. Thus, I have pages and pages and notebooks of writings scattered in my home and office, with no order or continuity. Just when the thought of something hits me, many times, I write it down. I find myself, just in random thinking, putting things in story form, scribing, in my mind, how the story should go, according to the details of an event or experience. Along with this, I find lessons and wisdom and insight in everyday things, in everyday experiences and conversations. Those too, I feel should be written down. Case in point: this.
