Im gettin old when I think back 50 years ago... I was 15 when I saw Jerry Lee Lewis The Killer at a small place called Danceland in Excelsior, MN where I grew up, just outside of Minneapolis. It was 1964. WHAT A SHOW and what an impression it left on me!!! If I remember correctly I think the ticket price was only $3.00 (my lawn mowing money). I remember sneaking out of the house to see him and catching hell from my dad when he caught me sneaking back into the house - Haha, but it was worth it. This video isnt from there, but its a lot like what it was like back then when I saw him, when we could all jump on the stage and hop around back in those good ol days. Im currently reading the newly released biography, Jerry Lee Lewis: His Own Story by Rick Bragg... Good book.
