Im getting bloody sick of our Council & State Roads ignoring continued complaints about the corner out the front of our home. Ive written letters and made numerous calls explaining to them that Im sick of getting up in the night to attend to car crash victims, simply because they wont fix the road. Tonight is the tenth crash weve had in 6 years. Tonights victim is eight months pregnant and we are hoping like hell that her baby is ok. The ambulance is taking her away now. Ive pulled at least 6 cars off the road with the tractor to avoid further crashes. Council marked the corner and the trees nearly 6 years ago to be fixed but nothing has happened since. How long until a fatality? Whose fault? I know funding is tight but surely with all the rates and taxes that we pay a real black spot could be fixed in under 6 years!! I know that they have my contacts on file, as theyve told me each time I call :-( not happy
