Im getting real annoyed by some things, such as how when something occurs within the black community that stirs us up to move as one we can still be divisive. The issues of the black community, are numerous and complex. I dont expect everybody to be moved by the same issues but I do also understand there are people who are moved by the same issues and are working against them. So when we say things like black people are against Sorority Sisters but support Love and Hip Hop. One its a reach because youre now speaking for millions other people, two its a slap in the face to the black people who stand against it all, and three youre totally losing sight of the fact that we are finally standing for something as a unit. I am happy at the movements ( against various issues affecting us) that I am seeing from us all over, I am happy people are attacking whatever it is they stand against. Lets stand behind it, if we each stood up for something that plagues our community we could reduce some of the issues we have. But right now we too caught up on who stands for what when we should be getting those who stand for nothing to simply stand up for US.
