Im getting tired of wiping up pee off of my floor, so I thought Id post something here. I have a 5 yr old 10 lb Cinnamon rabbit who is free roam in most of the house (except for one bedroom and now the kitchen/dining room area due to my other rabbits, which have increased from 2 to now 4 within the last yr). He has had great litterbox habbits (minus the territorial poop) up until now. It started slowly.... small squirts of pee and now its blossomed into full-on pee episodes on either side of his litterbox and in front of the bag of litter. He is free roam, but we still keep his bedroom as is, minus the x-pen now. There is vinyl piece of flooring, a litterbox and his food/water bowls. No other bun is allowed in his room or even near it. He was checked out by the vet about a year ago with no health problems except the beginning of arthritis. My vet suggested low dose of metacam to see if that helps (it hasnt). He has 2 litterboxes, a low one and a larger higher cat one. We were afraid he didnt want to hop so much so we used the lower one. He also has one in our living room and its a high sided one. He hops in there with no issues. The box in his room is where he does the outside pee. Sorry for being so long. Just not sure what to do. Is it territorial from the other rabbits? Is it a health thing?
