Im going to add a few basic pointers for crafters to help when sharing your items for sale. THINK LIKE A SHOPPER: When purchasing something online you want high quality photographs, detailed descriptions that include sizes or dimensions, fabric content or types of products used in making your product and, of course, prices. PHOTOS: 1. If possible use a camera with at least 5 mega pixels. If you dont have a high mega pixel camera I highly recommend moving in closer, though not TOO close, so you wont have to crop the photos once taken. Cropping low mega pixel photos (even 5mp) will make them too small to see details. Do NOT use a digital zoom to pre-crop. It only enlarges the pixels making zoomed photos look digitized when posted. 2. Take photos using natural light. if you cant take them during the day, purchase a full spectrum or daylight bulb. This will help show your goods true colors. 3. Use a plain background. Hang up a sheet or place items in front of closed solid curtain or blank wall. For small items place them on a table cloth or place table close to window and lay drapes over the table. Ill share some examples in the comments to help you get the idea.
