Im going to ask EVERYONE in my FB circle for a consideration: I firmly believe that people is entitled to their belief systems; I have my own strong convictions But I dont try and force my beliefs on others, and I dont go looking for news items that would seriously offend AND wound someone I otherwise like. I am asking for the same consideration. If your political leanings are slightly different than mine and we might not see eye-to-eye.....thats what makes the world go round. But if we have a core difference in global philosophy then you should probably unfriend me. I have a fairly succinct opinion of the entire Middle East plateau, and especially Israel, that isnt likely to change. EVER! If your position is that the population and armed forces of the Middle East are entitled to hammer away at Israel year after year, then we just plain cant be friends. Id like to respect your point of view but my own heritage has brought me a situation that is very close to me. It just smacks of anti-Semitism and thats a deal breaker for me. Im going to feel badly if I lose a few friends over this, but I would rather do it civilly than have a war of words with someone that I have otherwise held in some regard.
