Im going to bed tonight with mixed emotions. Ive been gloriously blessed in my life with so many amazing friends and an even more amazing family. Yet I find this huge hole in my heart... 3 different houses today I went to and 3 absolutely beautiful sets of children I interacted with...The purest form of love youll ever feel is the love of a child...I always joke with people that I havent cursed the world with a mini me...I LOVE being an uncle and Im pretty damn good at it...But I want to be the guy that opens the front door and gets to see those bright eyes open looking at me with arms open yelling DADDY!!!!!!! Maybe one day Ill have it...After that Im positive that if I leave this world Ill be truly at peace and Ill be able to say I never had a regret..And to all my friends who have become single mothers or fathers...You guys make it look easy even though Im sure its not...You keep a smile on your face and push through your problems for your kids...That takes true dedication and I want you all to know that I have enormous amounts of respect for all of you...sweet dreams
