Im going to brag on myself, just a little bit. Sometime in April - TopicsExpress

Im going to brag on myself, just a little bit. Sometime in April of this year, I stepped on the scale at 172 pounds (78kg). I didnt like that number and set out to lower my weight, get healthier and ultimately see my six pack again. Although I have yet to see that washboard stomach, my weight as of this morning is 148 pounds (67kg). Heres the kicker, I didnt do anything crazy to lose the weight. No crash diets, no supplements, no cleanses, nothing. When I first started the process, I just cut out extra snacks and late night meals. I slowly lowered what I ate at each meal until I felt full without being stuffed. About two months ago, I made a lifestyle choice to cut out dairy and carbs. Believe it or not, this did not change my weight loss progress. I continued to eat the same quantity of food, but I was feeling better. Weight loss really is as simple as eat fewer calories than you burn. Since I started this process in April, I have lost roughly 24 pounds (11kg), quit using my daily allergy medicines, about to reduce my daily reflux medications, increased my running speed and distance, dont remember the last time I felt hungry and feel healthier overall. All of this by doing basically nothing other than paying attention to what I put in my mouth, and Im quite proud of myself.
