Im going to finally make the post about what happened this weekend. We lost our son Zephyr Michael Raymond-Pierce Friday night. I had some worries and came to the hospital. They could not find a heart beat, did two different ultrasounds and no heart beat was found. My doctor believes that his cord got pinched and he passed instantaneously. The next morning I went into surgery, and had a c section done. Zephyr came into the world at 10:25 AM April 19, 2014. Weighing 8lbs 11oz, 21in long. (The same weight and length his daddy was when he was born) He was still born. After I was in recovery for a little bit, I got to hold my baby boy for the first time. Hes been in my room with me during my time at the hospital. We are currently working on getting services set up. I will post more information about them as we get everything going. Wed like to thank everybody for their prayers, and for their visits if theyve came up to the hospital to see him. It means a lot to us.
