Im going to give all of you my personal opinion. Minimum wage is minimum wage. I dont care where you work. I dont care what you do. I dont care if ya make $300 a day in tips. Fair is still fair. Now, I appreciate those businesses that compensate the pay for slow tip days, really I do, but I just dont think that anyone should be able to pay less because of the gratuity of others. In fact, I think businesses would see a very large increase in productivity by compensating tips with minimum wage. If at that point you want to tax every bit of it, then do so, but fair is fair. Just a thought.
