Im going to play devils advocate and side with the rules on this matter, for a change. Dunking the ball over the goal post does nothing to enhance the game and it is beyond me how, as a player, you could feel good about hurting your team with an unsportsmanlike penalty after doing something great to put your team ahead. Be classy like Barry was and just hand the ball to the ref and let your actions do the talking.
