Im going to say something that may catch me a lot of flak from my geeky friends but I dont care because your geeks. I actually thoroughly enjoyed the Star Wars prequels. I did. I loved Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson as Obi-wan (my favorite movie character) and Qui Gon Jin. I loved seeing the Jedi at their height of power. I loved seeing Yoda saber fight not once but twice. I loved seeing how Palpatine got the republic to transform itself into an empire through a seemingly endless war that he created and loved the space battles. The only thing I really didnt like was the romance between anakin and padme in episode 2 (cringe inducing) and jar jar from episode 1. Other than that though I really liked it. Well the lil kid anakin got on my nerves too but i am thankful for these movies and am excited to see what episode 7 is going to be about. I just dont understand the hate for the prequels. I grew up a star wars fan and loved them when they came out. I know no one cares lol. I just keep seeing prequel hate popping up in light of the newest star wars movie being made and had to say my peace. May the force be with you.
