Weve had a fundraiser run to gather non-perishable food donations for the Tazewell Veterans Assistance Commission....Roughly 17 riders, SAD! 2. For two weeks, my Club and I have hosted a young veteran who is WALKING coast to coast to raise awareness of PTSD/TBI. Weve taken him to various VSOs to speak and raise funds, to the TT Races and Concert, and weve had a good time with Eric. We support his cause 100% and then some No Veteran Walks Alone! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Yes, Im calling you out and Im now also challenging you. Veterans (those that ride especially), those who claim to support veterans etc... 3. Last Chance....Tomorrow, 8/23, we will be departing Pekin at 10am enroute to Marseilles, IL. so Eric can visit the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial for the first time. Ride with us, or meet us there...the choice is yours. Or, have my Club meet you for a brief period of 40 gallon ice trash can water boarding (youre on the board). Again, this is for folks on my friends list who are LOCAL (150 miles), Veterans (Especially riders) and those who claim to support veterans...CVMA 24-1, CVMA 24-4, Legion Riders, AMVET Riders, ILPGR etc...You have 14 hours to pull your head out of your ass and step to the plate.
