Im going to see Stevie Wonder tomorrow night. I remember being in 7th grade, right about the time I was discovering bands like Depeche Mode, Erasure, New Order & Book of Love , when I saw this episode of The Cosby Show. On the show, Stevie shows off the sampling capabilities of his Synclavier, one of the first samplers. Samplers would go on to be the primary tool used in the music I loved throughout the next 2 decades. At the time, a new musical world was opening up around me and when I saw this silly sitcom episode displaying the technological advances happening in music at the time, I knew I had to be part of it. https://youtube/watch?v=fKD4u7pI5gA
