Im going to tell you a little story about my doctor. My doctor for 30 years. We were having a little trouble getting a prescription renewed. His office just couldnt get it right for some reason and got mad at me for getting impatient about it. So I get a call from Dr. Lawrence Cohen and he starts to tell me that I have to realize that calling in my prescriptions is really charity work on their part. Its just out of the kindness of their hearts that they do it. He said that they actually lose money when they do it because his receptionist has to take time away from other things she could be doing to do it. Of course I started to question this and he told me I had to stop interrupting him or were done. So I said OK - were done- see ya, and hung up the phone on his patronizing ass. 30 years and this guy is treating me like some kind of idiot and talking to me like Im a child. Have you ever heard any sh#t like that in your life? Needless to say hes fired and I would advise you all to stay away from this guy if his name ever comes up. He had me totally fooled and thats what scares me the most. I always thought he was not only my Dr. but, since Ive been seeing him ever since he started his practice, that we were friends too. In the end it was all about money. I wasnt a good enough earner for his office I guess. I wasnt sick enough to warrant them calling in prescriptions for me. And I dont think hes actually the worst case scenario. I never would have guessed when I started seeing him that I would be getting this BS speech 30 years later. Live and learn. Getting harder and harder to trust people.
