Im going to touch on a subject that many dont want to touch...The Vested(Club) Community...For those that leave a Club and still want to move about in it...Listen this is a members environment...Im not here to debate if its right or wrong or not...Bottom line thats what it is...The most popular phrase in the Community is I am the same person in and out of a vest well that may be the case in YOUR personal life but in a Vested(Club) Community its absolutely NOT the case...Which is why you see two different prices for many events...One price for vested and another price for non-vested...You dont have to like it but thats what it is...If you have a membership card to a gym you have access to things that non members do not...If you are a member of a Golf Club, Fraternity, a Lodge or any other organization...You have certain entitlements that non members just do not have...In theory, being in a Club and wearing a vest is something earned...Whether or not thats the case for most Clubs is irrelevant...Take note of many people that are either about to leave or that have left begin the propaganda of is it the same in or out of a vest my answer is simply NO, it is not the same...You are no longer a part of the membership Community....There is a difference from the Bike Community and the Vested(Club) Community...The Bike Community is comprised of everyone, club or no club, its about bike riders...The interesting thing about those that are no longer in a Club that has the unjustifiable notion that they should be treated exactly the same as vested members of the Community...They seem to be the main ones speaking ill of the very Community that they demand equality from...This is further proof of the mockery and lack of respect for the Vested(Club) Community because we will abide by every other entity that requires membership from dog walking groups to religious institutions...But us vested members are looked upon as being wrong for having the same expectations...Thats why we have Club names vs utilizing our government names...If you want to be around the vested Community, great all are welcomed but dont be bitter because you are treated slightly different...Its not personal...Its simply Community Business -Self
