Im going to use my slow cooker soon for the first time for spaghetti bolognaise and am using mince,leeks,carotts onions, celery, tomato soup, tomato paste, tomato puree, stock, milk or cream , spices its kind of a ragu and Im wondering do I brown my meat before hand and cook the onions, leeks, celery before putting in slow cooker ? Also do I need a tea towel under lid and how long to cook this , thanks
