Im gonna be a little bit obvious here, and I mean absolutely NO offense to anyone. I am not good on the phone. It makes me uncomfortable and nervous and if Im actually talking to you for more than simple planning or business it means I am either comfortable enough with you to be over that, I am desperate for your particular voice or energy or Im pushing my own boundaries. Also small talk: Im not good at it, and it always seems forced and awkward, and its not you in particular. Greeting pleasantries aside, of course. Ive been working on it for 34 years now, I dont think Im gonna get over it much. I have to bite my tongue on business calls, so please understand if my personal interactions on the phone are a bit stilted. But text? Ill text the holy hell out of a phone LOL
